Stewardship
Time, Talent & Treasure
Everything we have (our time, talent, and treasure) has been given to us by God, and we are called upon to be good stewards of these God-given gifts. If we take Genesis seriously, then we need to become good stewards of all three gifts. Not just a small portion of each, but all our time, all our talent, and all our treasure. And as stewards, we need to learn to use them as God intends them to be used, and to return these gifts to their rightful owner - God, the Creator!
The Ministry Directory outlines the many opportunities you and your family have to give back your Time, Talent, and Treasure to SJR. In addition to our parish there are many important and meaningful opportunities in our community.
Please consider how you might use your God given gifts in our parish and in the community.
To assist parishioners in this effort we have provided a Commitment Card and the Ministry Directory of all our ministries. (Click on the name to download) For more information please contact the church office or contact the Ministry Leader noted below the ministry name & description.
